Abstract:	The author looks at one acpect of the resistance of the higher Greek-Catholic clergy of the Galych Metropolitanate and Mukachevo eparchy to the Soviet religious policy in the Western Ukraine in 1944-1949, amied to the liquidation of the Greek-Catholic Church in the region. In the article are exposed and discribed attempts of sending truthful information from Ukraine, Poland, and Czechoslovakia to Vatican. Two attempts of the higher Greek-Catholic clergy in the emigration to find out the UGCC situation in the Western Ukraine from the year 1945 are named too.
