Abstract

The distinctive features of obstetric and perinatal pathology in pregnant women with various forms of herpetic infection were studied. It has been established that the recurrent form of genital herpes is the most unfavourable one, in this form the frequency of fetoplacental insufficiency makes up 63,3% and pregnancy interruption threat – 73,3%. The most frequent perinatal complications in the same group are respiratory distress syndrome – 36,7% and perinatal affection of central nervous system – 26,7%
