Abstract: | The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of the life style, nutrition оn bone density of females. The study was conducted in · 55 women aged from 37 to 70 years (at the mean age 52 years). From each participant we collected bone mass measurements bу single photon absorptiometry and information about life style and nutrition bу questionnaire. 3І women (56,4 %) had T-score values more than - 0,99 and incidence of T-score less than -1,0 was observed in 24 women (43,6 %). This value indicated bone loss ( osteopenia or osteoporosis ). In the study we evaluated favorable effect of physical training оn bone mass. Risk factor of osteoporosis is age, apastia of fish, smoking, low burdening of bones in job of females, and denture. |
