| Abstract: | This study presents the analysis of immunologic reactivity of children in iodine deficiency region. Thyroid hormones are needed for general growth and development. Our results suggest environmental iodine deficiency and relative subclinical hypothyroidism of mothers and neonates when compared to mothers and neonates from non-iodine deficient areas. |
