| Abstract: | Author have analyzed the results of 91 cases of carotid surgery and examines the causes and management of the varios types of postoperative complications (transient neurological deficit, arterial hypertension, hyperfusion syndrome, facial nerve injury, wolШd oedema) in 8 patients. Тhе prevention should include careful preoperative examination, intraoperative brain defens and blood flow monitoring, use of microsurgical teclmique. |
