Description:	It is observed that of «Karyer» pond officially is not a property of any government organization and widely used for recreation Uzhgorod city inhabitants. Valuation of sanitary-hygienic conditions of the pond over chemical and microbiological indexes has showed that the state of object is unsatisfactory. This object cannot be used for recreation without realization of actions offered in this work. The values some chemical indexes like chemical consumption of oxygen and concentration of dissolved oxygen shows contamination of water by organic compounds. All microbiological indexes (pathogenic microflora, colibacillus, mildew and sporous fungus, and other factors) show that ecological state of pond can be defined as unsatisfactory. Dynamics of the indexes shows that worst state of the pond is a summer, but in winter the state of water going to be better.
