dc.description.abstractThe article is focused on the issue of evaluating the quality of chemistry textbooks for 8th and 9th grade of primary school. Evaluation difficulty of textbooks we conducted based on the Nestlerová methodology. To assess the didactic quality of the textbooks chemistry teachers used the questionnaire method. Th e research results pointed to the difficulty of adequate educational text in analyzed textbooks. In the opinion of teachers for optimization the textbooks it is necessary to include the investigative activities and complex tasks which would support the learning process of students and develop their competencies.uk
