| Description: | Using the two methodologically different calculation schemes, the two sets of bond valence parameters (r0 = 2.387 Å and b = 0.37 Å; r0 = 2.335 Å and b = 0.43 Å) have been determined for the Sn2+/Cl– ion pair from the set of accurately determined coordination shells [Sn(II)Cln]. Reliability of the bond valence parameters obtained have been illustrated and discussed. |
