| Description: | The results of complex examination and surgical treatment of 129 patients undergoing indirect revascularizations because of critical ischemia were studied and evaluated. The preferable methods outlined in the study were tibia osteotrepanation, profundoplastics and lumbar sympathectomy. Based on 5-year follow-up period the most effective procedure on limb salvage was the combination of osteotrepanation and profundoplastics (47%), the least effective – isolated lumbar sympathectomy (30%). The quality of life in patients with successful revascularization was higher, which was the base for choosing indirect revascularization against limb amputation.
