dc.description.abstract	In the article is given it a shot to define achievements, tendencies and basic directions of researches by Ukrainian historiography of processes of origin, becoming and activity of the Galych army in 1918-1919 years., appraisal of its place and role in social and political, nationally and state processes in Galychyna of the direct period. Works and prospects of development of Ukrainian military history and historiography are distinguished.
