Abstract

ln the current article the author analyses the problem of contacts between Transcarpathia and Galicia regions and the гоlе of "The Shevchenko Scientific Society" ("SSS") in this process. Не characterizes the articles of Galician researchers оn the pages of "SSS" dedicated to Transcarpathia. Publications included various topics; most of them were about culture and education of the region. The author aпalyses the level of investigations of Transcarpathia bу the Galician researchers and their influence оп the strengthening of contacts between Transcarpathia and Galicia.
