Нова геополітична ситуація у Центрально-Східній Європі та українське питання в російській геополітичній науці

Abstract

The article focuses on the geopolitical changes in Europe throughout the period of the last fifteen years, Ukraine’s place and role in the new world order. The author criticizes Russian geopolitical position concerning their negative attitude to the Ukraine’s state status and their calls for its liquidation or transformation into Russia’s satellite, as a kind of a transport constituent of the newly created big oil and gas empire. The article puts forward certain generalizations and recommendations for Ukrainian politicians as to the problem of Ukraine’s place in a new geopolitical situation.
