Елементи поетики романтизму у збірці «Золоті ключі» В. Ґренджі-Донського

Abstract

У статті досліджено елементи поетики романтизму у збірці «Золоті ключі» (1923 р.) Василя ҐренджіДонського, котрого справедливо вважають зачинателем нової української літератури у краї. Актуальність дослідження полягає в розкритті питання стильової своєрідності автора збірки як поета-романтика. Об’єктом аналізу обрано найбільш показові зразки лірики митця: «Золоті ключі», «Вбитий герой», «Ой не раз…», «Скільки…», «На шпилю Карпатів», «Невже тебе…», «Ужгород» та ін. Вказані вірші ілюструють усі найістотніші ознаки поетики романтизму в аналізованій збірці. Це, по-перше, звернення до історичного минулого, до народних витоків культури, до національної мови з метою пробудження національної свідомості. По-друге, усвідомлення гармонійної єдності з природою рідного краю, оспівування молодості, краси й кохання, а звідси й підвищена емоційна чутливість ліричного героя. По-третє, тісний зв’язок із фольклором та релігійною тематикою. По-четверте, контрастне поєднання оптимістичного настрою з крайнім песимізмом («світовою тугою») у всіх його виявах (трагізм, розчарування, відчай, безнадія, сум, проливання сліз). По-п’яте, використання у творах екзотичних, містичних, а іноді й фантастичних образів і сюжетів, виняткових обставин, у яких діє винятковий герой, послуговування романтичною іронією та сарказмом. Усі ці ознаки представляють В. Ґренджу-Донського як поета з яскраво вираженим романтичним типом світовідчування. Особливо романтизм митця проявляється у ліричній поемі «Князівна Гуцулії», що також увійшла до аналізованої збірки. В основі твору – міфічний сюжет, у якому діють вигадані й реальні персонажі людського та демонічного світів та світу природи. Події твору та порушені тут проблеми проектуються на авторову сучасність. У ході дослідження з’ясовано також, що у «Золотих ключах», як і в дебютній його збірці «Квіти з терньом» (1923 р.) усе ще відчувається певна залежність її автора від народнопоетичної стихії. Водночас зауважено, що В. Ґренджа-Донський у кількох поезіях збірки («Жебрак», «Пісня мадярського магната») використовує засоби та прийоми реалістичного письма.

The article examines the elements of romanticism poetics in the collection “Golden Keys” (1923) by Vasyl Grendzha-Donsky, who is rightly considered the initiator of new Ukrainian literature in the region. The relevance of the research lies in revealing the stylistic originality of the author of the collection as a romantic poet. The most revealing samples of the artist’s lyrics were chosen as the object of analysis: “Golden keys”, “Killed hero”, “Oh, more than once...”, “How many...”, “On the top of the Carpathians”, “Are you sure...”, “Uzhhorod” and others. These poems illustrate all the most essential features of the poetics of romanticism in the analyzed collection. First of all, this is, an appeal to the historical past, to the folk origins of culture, to the national language with the aim of awakening national consciousness. Secondly, the awareness of harmonious unity with the nature of the native land, the glorification of youth, beauty and love, as well as the connection with the heightened emotional sensitivity of the lyrical hero. Thirdly, a close connection with folklore and religious themes. Fourth, a contrasting combination of an optimistic mood with extreme pessimism (“world longing”) in all its manifestations (tragedy, disappointment, despair, hopelessness, sadness, shedding of tears). Fifth, the use of exotic, mystical, and sometimes fantastic images and plots, exceptional circumstances in which an exceptional hero acts, use of romantic irony and sarcasm in the works. All these signs present V. Grendzha-Donsky as a poet with a pronounced romantic type of worldview. The artist’s romanticism is especially evident in the lyrical poem “Princess Hutsulia”, which was also included in the analyzed collection. The work is based on a mythical plot, in which fictional and real characters from the human and demonic worlds and the world of nature act. The events of the work and the problems raised here are projected onto the author’s modernity. In the course of the research, it was also found, that in “Golden Keys”, as well as in his debut collection “Flowers with Thorns” (1923), a certain dependence of its author on the element of folk poetry is still felt. At the same time, it was noted, that V. Grendzha-Donsky uses the means and techniques of realistic writing in several poems of the collection (“The Beggar”, “The Song of the Magyar Magnate”).
