| Abstract: | The length the plot of Balla's novel is three days. During this time the protagonist (who is the novelist's alter ego) looks through the darkest period of his whole life while remembering his chilhood, youth, parents, and friends. Thus the masterpiece combines several periods. Using this method the writer shows the impossibility of describing human destiny. |
