Аспекти національного наративу у творчості О. Кирила Селецького

Abstract

У дослідженні вперше відрефлексовано специфіку омовлення національного дискурсу у художній творчості о. Кирила Селецького. Увагу зосереджено на стрижневих образах, які несуть основні смисли й сенси української екзистенції. Серед домінантних – образ храму, що символізує утвердження не лише християнської віри, яка, на думку отця, органічно корелює пов’язана зі становленням української нації, а й виступає фокусом національного буття. Зі святинею автор пов’язує історію, сьогодення та майбутнє України. У цьому сакральному місці, яке є джерелом Божої благодаті, відбувається культурний та національний здвиг народу, його відродження, становлення та самоідентифікація. Автор моделює національну матрицю, осердям якої є українська мова. Логіка письменника недвозначна, адже першоосновою повноцінного й національного буття є його мова, передовсім як «жива схованка» духу. Доповнює національну складову образ власної хати, яка символічно прочитується як власна держава. Виразно представлено вплив Т. Шевченка на становлення національної свідомості отця-просвітника. Зокрема, вбачаємо схожість образів та мотивів, що представляють національний наратив художнього слова обох митців. Актуалізувавши основні складові національного простору (храм, мова, хата тощо), автор доповнює свою концепцію образом школи, ґрунтованої на християнсько-національних засадах. У письменника національне органічно взаємодіє з релігійним, значні ракурси доповнюються одне одного і спрямовані на реалізацію просвітницької місії в процесі національного самостановлення й самоутвердження. Зазначимо, що о. Кирило Селецький в осмисленні національного питання заторкує морально-етичні норми українського побуту, які зорієнтовані на християнські цінності. Зробимо узагальнення, що творчість о. К. Селецького – це синтез національного й християнського. Ці категорії визначальні і для світоглядного становлення особистості, і для розвою української нації та розвитку національної Церкви.

The peculiarities of national discourse in the works of Fr. Kyrylo Seletskyi have been reflected in the study for the first time. Our attention is focused on the core images that convey the basic meanings and senses of Ukrainian existence. Among the dominant ones is the image of the temple, which symbolizes not only the establishment of the Christian faith, which, according to the priest, is organically correlated with the formation of the Ukrainian nation, but also is the focus of national existence. The author connects the history, present and future of Ukraine with the shrine. In this sacred place, which is the source of God’s grace, cultural and national upheaval of the people, their revival, formation and selfidentification takes place. The author models the national matrix, the core of which is the Ukrainian language. The logic of the writer is unambiguous, because the basis of a full and national existence is his language, especially as a “living hiding place” of the spirit. The image of his own house, which is symbolically read as his own state, complements the national component. The influence of Taras Shevchenko on the formation of the father and educator’s national consciousness is clearly presented. In particular, we can see the similarity of images and motifs that represent the national narrative of both artists. By actualizing the main components of the national space (temple, language, house, etc.), the author complements his concept with the image of a school based on Christian and national principles. The writer’s national identity organically interacts with the religious identity, significant perspectives complement one another and are aimed at implementing the educational mission in the process of national self-establishment and selfaffirmation. It should be noted that to comprehend the national issue Fr. Kyrylo Seletskyi touches on the moral and ethical norms of Ukrainian life, which are focused on Christian values. In conclusion, Fr. Kyrylo Seletskyi’s works are is a synthesis of national and Christian ideas. These categories are crucial for the worldview of the individual as well as for the development of the Ukrainian nation and the national Church.
