Досвід та ексшриєнталізм: розвиток поняття у міждисциплінарній перспективі гуманітарних наук

Abstract

Стаття присвячена ролі, яку відіграє поняття досвіду у філософії, психології, когнітивній лінгвістиці ХХ століття. Саме досвід, через який реалізується чуттєва взаємодія зі світом, потрапляє у фокус уваги емпіриків, формуючи підгрунтя для подальшого розвитку поняття досвіду як експіриєнталізму у когнітивній лінгвістиці. У статті аналізуємо різні типи досвіду (зовнішній, внутрішній), його змістову наповненність (концептуальний, неконцептуальний) та зв’язок зі знанням. Проблеми філософії пізнання тісно переплітаються з дослідженнями в галузі герменевтики, її когнітивною практикою, що має справу з мовою, текстами, значеннями і смислами. Наукові дискусії про природу досвіду зосереджуються на досвіді як свідомій події у широкому або більш обмеженому сенсі. Однією з важливих тем у цій галузі є питання про те, чи весь досвід є інтенційним, тобто спрямований на об’єкти, відмінні від нього самого. Інша дискусія зосереджена на питанні про те, чи існує неконцептуальний досвід, і якщо так, то яку роль він може відігравати в обґрунтуванні переконань. Деякі теоретики стверджують, що те, як переживається досвід, залежить тільки від змісту, представленого в цьому досвіді. Інші теоретики відкидають це твердження, вказуючи на те, що важливо не тільки те, що представлено, а й те, як це подається. Когнітивний досвід герменевтики, що намагався подолати абстракцію гносеологічного суб’єкта, є співзвучним розумінню сучасних тенденцій сприйняття. Сутність інтерпретації, на думку Г. Гадамера, не вичерпується її операційно-методологічною природою, або діяльністю, що тлумачить тексти, але входить у сферу фундаментальних основ пізнання та буття. Інтерпретація, за якою завжди стоїть суб’єкт, що задає і зчитує смисли та висуває предметні гіпотези, об’єднує у собі елементи буттєво-екзистенційного підходу. З феноменологічної точки зору досвід пов’язаний зі смислом, він є тим процесом, в якому виникає й артикулюється смисл. Спосіб виявлення, що відповідає живому процесові досвіду – це опис, який розуміємо не як інвентаризацію фактів свідомості, а як розгортання цього смислу. Завдяки означуванню у мові все “невидиме” і у довкіллі, і у людині стає знаком, що “сигналізує” про існування недоступних для безпосередніх чуттів явищ та речей. З точки зору когнітивної лінгвістики досвід є чинником, який впливає на взаємодію людини з навколишнім світом у термінах метафори.

The article is devoted to the role the concept of experience plays in philosophy, psychology, and cognitive linguistics of the 20th century. It is the experience through which sensory interaction with the world is realized. It comes into the focus of attention of empiricists, forming the basis for the further development of the concept of experience as experientialism in cognitive linguistics. In the article, we analyze different types of experience (external, internal), its content (conceptual, non-conceptual) and the connection with knowledge. The problems of the philosophy of knowledge are closely intertwined with research in the field of hermeneutics, its cognitive practice that deals with language, texts, and meaning. Scientific debates about the nature of experience focus on experience as a conscious event in a broad or more limited sense. One important topic in this field is the question of whether all experience is intentional, that is, directed toward objects other than itself. Another debate centers on the question of whether non-conceptual experience exists, and if so, what role it might play in the justification of beliefs. Some theorists argue that how an experience is lived depends only on the content presented in that experience. Other theorists reject this claim, pointing out that it matters not only what is presented, but also how it is presented. The cognitive experience of hermeneutics, which tried to overcome the abstraction of the epistemological subject, is consonant with the understanding of modern trends of perception. The essence of interpretation, according to G. Gadamer, is not limited to its operational and methodological nature, or the activity of interpreting texts, but is included in the sphere of fundamental foundations of cognition and being. Interpretation, behind which there is always a subject who sets and reads meanings and puts forward objective hypotheses, combines elements of the essential and existential approach. From a phenomenological point of view, experience is related to meaning, it is the process in which meaning arises and is articulated. The method of discovery that corresponds to the living process of experience is a description, which we understand not as an inventory of the facts of consciousness, but as the unfolding of this meaning. Thanks to the signification in language, everything “invisible” both in the environment and in a person becomes a sign that “signals” the existence of phenomena and things inaccessible to the immediate senses. From the point of view of cognitive linguistics, experience is a factor that affects a person’s interaction with the surrounding world in terms of metaphors.
