| Abstract: | The paper gives the first detailed analysis of the oldest Ukrainian printed books devoted to etiquette, including the etiquette of language: Polityka Svitskaya (Pochayiv, 1770), the Lviv ABC-book (Lviv, І 790), the ABC-book bу Ioan Kutka (Budyn, 1797), Pravyla Shkolniya bу I.Mohylnytsky (1817). The history of the books is shown as well as the content of the etiquette rools. These rules were taught in the schools of Western Ukraine (Halychyna, Volyn, Zakarpattia) in the second half of 18th - first half of l 9th century. |
