| Abstract: | The article deals with the results of the Western political science analysis of the local political phenomena in Central and Eastern Europe in 1990-2000, especially in the theoretical and methodological framework of the local studies. The conclusion is made that foreign researchers identified the certain specifics of the political processes in the post-socialist societies connected mostly with the political and cultural orientations of the elites and citizens. |
