| Description: | This work deals with the study of synthesized 4-hydroxystyrene merocyanine dyes properties. The main spectrophotometric and protolytic characteristics of dyes has been investigated. Absorption maximums of cationic and merocyanine forms and acidity constants (pKa) of investigated dyes has been determined by specrophotometric method. The structure of 4-hydroxystyrene merocyanine dyes has been proved by 1Н NMR spectroscopy. The scheme of protolitic changes involving 4- hydroxystyrene dyes has been proposed. Investigated compounds are perspective in optodes and as indicator systems. |
