| Description: | The method of spectrophotometric determination of lornoxicam based on the extraction of its ion associate with basic polymethine dye Astrafloxin was developed. The extractant is a mixture of isooctane and dichloroethane in 3,5:1,5 volume ratio. The absorption maximum wavelength is 541 nm, the operating pH range of the aqueous phase is 8–12. The optimum concentration of the Astrafloxin dye is (1,2–1,5)·10–4 mol/l. Beer’s law is obeyed over the concentration range of lornoxicam of 0,3–20 μg/ml. The method can be applied to determine lornoxicam in pharmaceutical preparations. |
