BURNS

Abstract

Burns are a global public health problem, accounting for an estimated 180 000 deaths annually. The majority of these occur in low- and middle-income countries and almost two thirds occur in the WHO African and South-East Asia Regions. The increasing in morbidity and mortality, raised the need for understanding the special mechanism of wound injury, adequate and soon diagnosis and urgent interaction to decrease the life-threatening complication, decrease hospital stay, and increase the effectiveness of basic and reconstructive treatment.
