Abstract

The patients with acute gastro-intestinal bleeding (AGB) of tumor origin make а constant component (9-11% ) аІІ treated concerning AGB and this percent has no the tendency to decrease. For the period 1982-2002 in the centre 2678 patients with AGB of tumor origin have arrived, that has made 10,3 % of all patients treated concerning in time of work of the centre. The benign tumours became the reason of а bleeding at 340 patients, malignant - at 2338 (87,З %). Medical tactics was defined depending on localization of а tumour and stage of process, degree of bleedeng difficulty, hemostasis condition.
