Abstract

В статье рассматривается становление украинской археологии в первой половине ХІХв. Анализируется деятельность Кондрата Лохвицкого - одного из первых, положивших начало изучению древней истории Киева с археологической точки зрения.The article is devoted to the history of the Ukrainian archeology in the first half of the XIX century. The main attention is paid to the prominent scientist - Kondrat Lochvytsky, which one of the first began to study the ancient history of Kiev from the archeological point of view.
