Abstract

This article is devoted to the study of German phraseologisms in the newspaper style. It focuses on the semantic and stylistic peculiarities of German phraseologisms with national cultural component. The functioning aspect of ethno-culturally marked phraseological units in German press has been shown. This article deals with the questions of phraseological meaning, inner form of phraseologisms and the formation of phraseological innovations with national potential in German press. Phraseological units with national and cultural potential in modern German press are characterized with the purpose of studying a language picture of the world.
