Анотація

The purpose of this article is to consider the modern discussion regarding the incorporation of critical cultural awareness into foreign language curricula and to provide an overview of its implications for learners and practicing educators, arising from the integration of an awareness component into their curricula in the Ukrainian tertiary education context. Keywords: cultural awareness, communicative competence, English for special purposes.
