Про суплетивізм у системі дієслова

Abstract

In the Ukrainian language а number of suppletive rows exist (for ехаmрІе, брати- взяти, є (єсть, єси, єсте)- суть (сут); є - був, буде), wich give an opportunity to investigate the nature of suppletivism in the verb system. This phenomenon scrvcs to express the category of aspect, tense, person and number. The category of aspect іп comparison with other categories of the verb possesses some peculiarity. This peculiarity consists the fact that in some suppletive formations the classificative category of aspect is being realized, while in the others we speak of wordforming category of aspect. lt is worth of paying attention to that the suppletivism іn the system of the verb а deep history.
