Scenes of transformation in stories as the basis for communication between father and daughter (in the book "Five minutes to dinner”)

Abstract

To enforce her own communicative intentions, I. Procházková chooses such means of expression, which are, from the viewpoint of subject matter, marginal; they have an existential nature. She offers a multi-dimensional portrayal of how a child who, having experienced problems and now growing up in a loving atmosphere, perceives life. The artistic value of the work is also mirrored in the scenes of sorrow and suffering, which are later transformed into a happy ending. The contribution focuses on ways of author’s communication with the reader as well as communication between the main characters of the book.
