Абстрактні і конкретні поняття як категорії мислення

Abstract

The article is dedicated to the abstract and concrete notions as mental categories. It is highlighted that there is no strict opposition of abstract and concrete notions in language system because transitions of certain nomena from concrete to abstract are possible, and vice versa. It is impossible to define in some situations, what group a noun belongs to, abstract or concrete. Abstraction is a base for the processes of generalization and formation of concepts, while concrete – it is really existing, fully certain, exact, material.
