Аналіз популярності вебфреймворків React, Angular та Vue за даними Google Trends

Abstract

У статті досліджено динаміку популярності трьох провідних JavaScript-фреймворків — React, Angular та Vue — на основі даних сервісу Google Trends за період 2020–2025 рр. Для аналізу часових рядів застосовано моделі ARIMA (AutoRegressive Integrated Moving Average) та ETS (Error, Trend, Seasonality), що дало змогу оцінити трендові, сезонні та випадкові компоненти. Дані були попередньо нормалізовані та перевірені на стаціонарність із використанням критерію Дікі–Фуллера. Результати показують, що React зберігає стабільний висхідний тренд, Angular демонструє поступовий спад, тоді як Vue характеризується горизонтальною динамікою з незначною сезонністю. Ljung–Box критерій підтвердив адекватність моделей ARIMA, тоді як ETS в окремих випадках виявляє залишкову автокореляцію.Проведений аналіз підтверджує ефективність методів часових рядів для прогнозування технологічних трендів та підкреслює аналітичний потенціал Google Trends як джерела емпіричних даних про розвиток вебтехнологій.

The article investigates the dynamics of popularity of three leading JavaScript frameworks — React, Angular, and Vue — based on Google Trends data for the period 2020–2025. The time series were analyzed using ARIMA (AutoRegressive Integrated Moving Average) and ETS (Error, Trend, Seasonality) models, which allowed for the estimation of trend, seasonal, and random components. The data were pre-normalized and tested for stationarity using the Dickey–Fuller test. The results show that React maintains a stable upward trend, Angular demonstrates a gradual decline, while Vue is characterized by horizontal dynamics with minor seasonality. The Ljung–Box test confirmed the adequacy of the ARIMA models, whereas the ETS models in some cases revealed residual autocorrelation. The conducted analysis confirms the effectiveness of time series methods for forecasting technological trends and emphasizes the analytical potential of Google Trends as a source of empirical data on the development of web technologies.
