Abstract

Overlapping of literary Ukrainian language and carpathian dialect in P.Medjanka's verses is considered as intertext. Text of regional language and culture - carpathian dialect - is based in P.Medjanka's verses on the sensitive images, transferred through taste, space, color and smell. The poet recreates the world of the past, finds there etemal national values. Не conducts search on crossing of epoch, cultural traditions, answering with а poetic word on deep inquiry of the Ukrainian culture, - to understand itself in а context of mankind.
