Abstract

The author of the article has considered the issues of borrowing from the French language into the Hungarian language, in particular borrowings of medical terms, used by the Hungarians of Transcarpathia. The process of replenishment of the Hungarian language and medical terminology is still continuing, as there is constant development and improvement of various branches of medicine, pharmacology, medical equipment, diagnostic and treatment methods. Borrowed from the French language words have undergone particular changes, adapting to the Hungarian language.
