Распространение неологизмов английского происхождения в словацкой и русской культурной средах

Abstract

Cultural sphere and popularity of „Western lifestyle“ become one of the elements which cause an infiltration of English words into languages. We often do not realize what is the proportion of music with English texts in comparison with other languages beside mother tongue. Either small children subcounsciously repeat English words from their favourite songs although they do not understand words‘ meaning. This influence of the infiltration should not be neglected and more attention should be paid to bigger language and cultural variety in the means of mass media communication.
