Інтрапортальна алотрансплантація культур острівцевих клітин підшлункових залоз у пацієнтів з інсулінозалежним цукровим діабетом, оперованих з приводу гострого холециститу

Abstract

We have made intraportal allotransplantation of the culture of pancreatic islet cells in 31 patients with Diabetes Mellitus operated from acute cholecystitis. The essential results were achievement of full insulinindependence in 6 patients and decreasing of the dose of exogenic insulin on 40-62% in other patients for 4 - 7,5 months. Also, we observed the considerable decreasing of postoperative complications and terms of treatment in surgery department. Thus, we proposed the intraportal allotransplantation of the culture of pancreatic islet cells as one of the methods, which improves the postoperative period in patients suffering fi-om Diabetes Mellitus and operated from acute cholecystitis.
