Проект як засіб реалізації STEAM-освіти у початковій школі

Abstract

Статтю присвячено актуальній проблемі STEAM-освіти в Україні – полідисциплінарний підхід до вивчення природничо-математичних дисциплін. Розглядається проектний метод як найперспективніший засіб реалізації STEAM-освіти у сучасній початковій школі. Висвітлюються практичні питання реалізації STEAM-освіти у початковій школі. Наведено приклад STEAM-проекту «Симетрія» для молодший школярів. Виділено основні складові проекту й етапи його поліваріативної реалізації. Ключові слова: проект, STEAM-освіта, початкова школа, молодші школярі.The article is devoted to the actual problem of STEAM-education as a modern world trend. The relevance of the material stated in the paper is caused by objective needs of introduction contemporary pedagogical concepts and their application into practice of elementary school, given junior pupils access to new tools for comprehension about the world. The aim of the paper is to cover results of practical issues of implementing STEAM-education in elementary school. Successful practices in introducing elements of STEM-education into basic school and incorporating STEAMdisciplines into artistic subjects (STEAM) have contributed to increasing the interest of scholars, practitioners and educators in implementing the idea of STEAM-learning in terms of developing the outstanding natural abilities of junior pupils. STEAM-education is a complex polidisciplinary approach that combines natural sciences with technology, engineering and mathematics with a projection into life, where all subjects are interconnected and integrated into a single whole.
