ВИТОКИ ВИДАВНИЧО-ПОЛІГРАФІЧНОЇ ТЕРМІНОЛОГІЇ ТА ВПЛИВ ІННОВАЦІЙНИХ ЗМІН ВИДАВНИЧО-ПОЛІГРАФІЧНОГО ВИРОБНИЦТВА НА РОЗВИТОК ТЕРМІНОСИСТЕМИ

Abstract

У статті простежено витоки української видавничо-поліграфічної термінології, які сягають епохи пізнього середньовіччя (середина XVст.), наведено лінгвістичні підтвердження спадкоємицтвавід друкарської термінології, яка в свою чергу, успадкувала термінологію рукописного книговиготовлення; віднайдено підтвердження функціонування в сучасній видавничо-поліграфічній термінології термінів, які увійшли в ужиток п’ять сторіч назад. Виявлено основну причину динамічного оновлення видавничо-поліграфічної терміносистеми, яким став науково-технічний прогрес. The paper traces the origins of the Ukrainian publishing-polygraphic terminology, dating back to the late Middle Ages. This period is the successor of the printing terminology, which, in its turn, inherited the terminology of handwritten book production. Also, the facts were fixed confirming the functioning of ancient terms in the modern publishing and polygraphic terminology, which came into being five centuries ago, but still continue to function in the Ukrainian modern professional terminology. The terminological examples, confirming the succession of terms, the interpretation of which is still known to the publishers and printers, as well as the dissemination of printed terms in the Slavic language, and later Ukrainian terminology, has been suggested. The attention has been paid to the development of Ukrainian book printing and publishing, the organization of the printing industry in Russia, initiated by the outstanding book guards G. Scarina and I. Fedorovich (Fedorov). Taking into consideration the historical background, having preserved for almost five centuries the printing terminology as a permanent lexical group, the influence of social groups of different social layers on its development has been revealed. It has been proved that only in the first half of the XIXth century, two independent terminological systems - publishing and polygraphic terminology were splited. As a result of the introduction of innovative technologies, they rejoined in the end of the XXth century, possessing the same nuclear terminology. As the basis of this process the expansion of the publishing and polygraphic terminological system, leading to a progress in the development of the field of printing and publishing, and causing the replenishment of the terminology system, adjusting the branch of word-formation, its normalization and functioning has been used. The paper highlights the basic stages in the development of the publishing and polygraphic terminological system and identifies the reasons for its dynamic renewal. That is the period between the end of the XXth and the beginning of the XXIst century. This period is marked by the rapid introduction or returning of printing or polygraphic terms in the lexical system of the Ukrainian language.
