Маркеры идиостиля Диккенса на основе романа «Приключения Оливера Твиста»

Abstract

У сучасному літературному просторі широко досліджують авторський стиль письменників. У статті автор аналізує особливості творчості Чарльза Діккенса в розрізі англійського реалізму. Особливу увагу звернуто на новаторські механізми стилетворчості письменника, які він використовував у романі «Пригоди Олівера Твіста». Відзначено, що художник-реаліст порушує такі теми, які вважалися забороненими в англійській літературі. С. Романчук підкреслює, що оригінальність його творів полягала в тому, що автор намагався вирішити ці проблеми в гротескному морально-етичному плані. Критичний пафос у творчості художника завжди був пов’язаний з утвердженням ідеалу. Одна з провідних тем його творів – боротьба добра зі злом. Тому в статті проаналізовано проблеми роману, психологічні портрети головних героїв, дано оцінку їхнім діям. Окреслено маркери авторського стилю письменника. Зазначено, що істотним компонентом його художньої манери є розкриття проблем суспільства, перша з них – це проблема виховання. Жорстокість світу породжує жорстокість дитини. Саме це хвилює письменника, який свідомо оголює найстрашніші виразки англійського дна, бажаючи звернути на них увагу суспільства. Письменник уважає, що проблема виховання людини – справа всього суспільства. Друга проблема – це проблема соціального й морального благополуччя. У романі «Пригоди Олівера Твіста» порушуються найгостріші питання про соціальне та моральне благополуччя, про беззаконня та знущання над дітьми в школах, про страждання бідного народу в робітних будинках, про кримінальний світ Лондона. Третя проблема – добро і зло. Він вірив у переможну силу добра. Добро і зло – два композиційні центри в романі. Добро в романі показано піднесено ідеальним, тоді як зло – хиже, маніакальне й не має раціонального пояснення. Перше обов’язково має перемогти – ось надія, яка живить уяву письменника. Варто зазначити, що для створення цілісної картини критичного реалізму автор використовує автобіографічні й вигадані факти. Доведено, що це теж своєрідний маркер письменницької майстерності. Крім того, автор упевнена, що зображення гуманістичного світогляду також доповнює уявлення читачів про ідіостиль Діккенса.

In the contemporary literary space, the author’s style of writers is widely studied. In the proposed article, the author analyzes the features of the work of Charles Dickens in the context of English realism. Particular attention is paid to the innovative mechanisms of style-writing of the writer, which he used in the novel “The Adventures of Oliver Twist”. It is noted that the realist artist violates topics that were considered prohibited in English literature. S. Romanchuk emphasizes that the originality of his works was that the author tried to solve these problems in a grotesque moral and ethical sense. Critical pathos in the work of the artist has always been associated with the statement of the ideal. One of the leading themes of his works is the struggle between good and evil. Therefore, the article analyzes the problems of the novel, psychological portraits of the main characters, and assesses their actions. The articl outlines markers of the author’s style. It is indicated that an essential component of his artistic manner is the disclosure of the problems of society. And the first of them is the problem of education. Cruelty of the world breeds cruelty of the child. This is what worries the writer, who deliberately exposes the most terrible ulcers of the English bottom, wishing to draw the attention of society to them. The writer believes that the problem of educating a person is the business of the whole society. The second problem is the problem of social and moral well-being. The novel “The Adventures of Oliver Twist” raises the most acute questions about social and moral well-being, about lawlessness and abuse of children in schools, about the suffering of the poor people in workhouses, about the criminal world of London. The third is good and evil. He believed in the triumphant power of good. Good and evil are two compositional centers in the novel. The good in the novel has risen upright ideal, while the evil is predatory, manic and has no rational explanation. Good must necessarily win – this is the hope that nourishes the imagination of the writer. It should be noted that to create an integral picture of critical realism, the author uses autobiographical and fictional facts. The work proved that this is also a kind of marker of writing skills. The author is also confident that the image of a humanistic worldview also complements the readers 'view of Dickens' idiostyle.
