Мовні зміни в англійській мові під впливом соціальних мереж та інтернет-комунікації

Abstract

У статті досліджено мовні зміни в англійській мові, спричинені розвитком соціальних мереж та інтернет-комунікації, а також їхній вплив на англійську мову. Визначено наслідки цих змін для мовної культури та стилістики сучасного англомовного спілкування. Актуальність статті визначається тим, що англійська мова, яка є основною мовою міжнародного спілкування, зазнає впливу інтернет-середовища. Нові лексичні одиниці, спрощення граматики, орфографічні інновації та стилістичні зміни – усе це вимагає системного аналізу для розуміння сучасних мовних тенденцій. Мета статті полягає в аналізі мовних змін в англійській мові, зумовлених впливом соціальних мереж та інтернет- комунікації. У статті мовні зміни трактуються як процеси еволюції, трансформації та адаптації мовної системи, які відбуваються протягом певного часу, та є природним явищем, що зумовлюється внутрішніми законами розвитку мови, а також зовнішніми чинниками, такими як соціальні, культурні, політичні та технологічні впливи. Досліджено вплив цифрового середовища на лексичний склад, орфографію, граматичну структуру і стилістичні особливості сучасної англійської мови. Зокрема, розглянуто такі явища, як скорочення слів, спрощення граматичних конструкцій, використання неформальних орфографічних варіантів, зростання ролі емотиконів, мемів та інших невербальних засобів комунікації. Визначено, що швидкість, доступність і специфіка інтернет- комунікації сприяють формуванню нових мовних норм і практик. В результаті цього дослідження з’ясовано, яким чином соціальні мережі змінюють не тільки індивідуальну комунікацію, але й культурні та соціальні норми мовного використання, визначено потенційні ризики та переваги таких змін для збереження мовної культури та ефективності спілкування. Перспективи подальших досліджень полягають у глибшому аналізі впливу цифрового середовища на мовну еволюцію та вивченні міжкультурних аспектів цієї трансформації.

The article examines the linguistic changes in English caused by the development of social networks and Internet communication, as well as their impact on the English language. The implications of these changes for the linguistic culture and style of modern English-speaking communication are determined. The relevance of the article is determined by the fact that English, which is the main language of international communication, is being influenced by the Internet environment. New lexical items, simplified grammar, spelling innovations, and stylistic changes all require systematic analysis to understand modern language trends. The purpose of the article is to analyze linguistic changes in English caused by the influence of social networks and Internet communication. The article interprets language change as the processes of evolution, transformation and adaptation of the language system that occur over time and are a natural phenomenon that is determined by the internal laws of language development as well as external factors such as social, cultural, political and technological influences. The influence of the digital environment on the lexical composition, spelling, grammatical structure and stylistic features of modern English is investigated. In particular, the author examines such phenomena as shortening of words, simplification of grammatical structures, use of informal spelling variants, and the growing role of emoticons, memes, and other non-verbal means of communication. It is determined that the speed, accessibility and specificity of Internet communication contribute to the formation of new language norms and practices. This study reveals how social networks change not only individual communication but also cultural and social norms of language use and identifies potential risks and benefits of such changes for preserving language culture and communication efficiency. Prospects for further research include a deeper analysis of the impact of the digital environment on language evolution and the study of intercultural aspects of this transformation.
