Формування системи суспільно-географічних знань в процесі викладання у вищій школі

Abstract

The main features of human-geographical knowledge formation in higher school are regarded. The basis for the modernization is to achieve a system of competences in the process of learning of programs on human geography are considered. Specificity normative courses that teached at the Department of Economic and Social Geography in Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. Development of basic, general academic and subject-specific competences in the educational process of students geographers aims to improve geographic literacy basics. Importance of geographic literacy components through the European experience of the Tuning project and Herodot network is examined.
