Abstract

The article highlights the Ukrainian-Romanian relations after the EU enlargement and Romania’s accession to the European and Euro-Atlantic structures, the burning issues of the international cooperation, summarizes the aspects of strategic energy cooperation in the near future, analyzes the problems and benefits of partner relationships in Central and Eastern Europe. Today the Ukrainian-Romanian relations and prospects of cooperation between the two countries in the context of the transformation of contemporary geopolitical regional systems are of great importance. The situation in Central and Eastern Europe influenced by external and internal factors is constantly changing; new aspects of cooperation or confrontation appear. One of such key points was Romania‘s accession to the „European family” and further enlargement of the European Union, which in the near future will affect its relations with Ukraine, and regional processes in the Black Sea region.

În lucrare sunt descrise principalele momente ale relaţiilor româno - ucrainene după lărgirea UE şi obţinerea de către România a statutului de membru în structurile europene şi euroatlantice, chestiuni actuale legate de colaborarea interstatală, fiind descrise aspecte ale strategiei energetice, în perspectiva apropiată, sunt analizate problemele şi beneficiile dezvoltării relaţiilor de parteneriat în regiunea Europei Centrale şi de Est.
