Угорський чинник в словацькому національному пробудженні (30-ті - середина 40-х рр. ХІХ ст.)

Abstract

Праця присвячена дослідженню чинників, які вплинули на процес становлення словацької нації. Цей процес супроводжувався активізацією угорського національного руху. Тому словацьке національне середовище в цей період досить часто схилялося до політичної мімікрії: створюючи та підтримуючи власну національну програму інтродукції в європейській цивілізаційний простір, словаки були змушені враховувати потужний чинник угорського соціокультурного оточення. Наявну атмосферу словацько-угорської конкуренції досить вміло використовувала у своїй внутрішній політиці Габсбургська монархія. В існуючих політичних умовах німецька еліта імперії з 30-х рр. почала проявляти неприхований інтерес до словацького етнонаціонального руху з його мовно-літературною ідеологемою. У Відні словацький рух розглядали у якості стримуючого антиугорського чинника, або як складову частину імперської ідеології Габсбургів, яка хоча і «натякала» на свою наднаціональність, але все ж таки ґрунтувалася на феодальній і династичній концепціях імперської влади. Також відзначимо, що політична практика реалізації ідеї «угорської політичної нації» не тільки не ускладнювала процес становлення словацького національного руху та його національної парадигми, а у той самий час суперечила ідеї збереження наднаціональної монархії Габсбургів, що додавало світоглядного радикалізму окремим словацьким патріотам.

The national and cultural activity of western Slavs at the end of the XVІІІ century – the beginning of the ХІХ century is one of the most significant periods of European Slavs from the point of view of ethnicity. The process of Slovak Slavonic revival as a symbiosis of Enlightenment and romanticism can be regarded as a process of ethnic modernization that took place at the end of the ХVІІІ-ХІХ centuries. The author elucidates the specific character of cultural and national development and complete process of national revival of the Slovak in the specified period. The existing atmosphere of the Slovak-Hungarian competition was quite skillfully used by the Habsburg Monarchy in its domestic policy. In the current political climate the Empire’s German elite began to show its unconcealed interest towards the Slovak ethno-national movement with its linguo-literary ideologeme. In Vienna the Slovak movement was considered as deterrent anti-Hungarian factor or as part of Habsburgs’ imperial ideology, that implying its supranationality, though, was based on the feudal and dynastic concepts of the imperial power. It should also be noted that political experience of realization of the idea of “Hungarian political nation” not only complicated the formation process of the Slovak national movement and its national paradigm, but at the same time contradicted the idea of preserving the supranational Habsburg Monarchy, which contributed to the ideological radicalism of certain Slovak patriots
