Мотив «каліф на годину» в українській та російській літературах к. ХVІІІ – І п. ХІХ ст.

Abstract

Актуальність статті обумовлена відсутністю спроб системного розгляду питання про специфіку творчого використання та трансформації традиційного мотиву «каліф на годину» в українській та російській літературах к. ХVІІІ – І п. ХІХ ст.: у перекладній фацеції, творах О. Писарєва, Д. Горчакова, Г. Квітки-Основ’яненка, Є. Гребінки, П. Куліша, М. Гоголя. Мета статті – визначення особливостей його використання у відповідному контексті. Диференційовано провідні тенденції функціонування мотиву – в межах відповідного сюжету та поза ними (коли створюється ситуація, безпосередньо не пов’язана з відомою фабулою, однак придатна для актуалізації асоціацій з нею). Вказано, що відносини з першоджерелом мають характер як опосередкованих генетичних зв’язків, так і типологічних подібностей, детермінованих карнавальною природою феномену. Підкреслено комічний потенціал мотиву, який забезпечує йому популярність в різних національних літературах, та намічено перспективи подальших досліджень.

Аrticle's аctuality is determined by systematic consideration's lack of the question about the specifics of the creative use and transformation of the motive «king for a day» in the Ukrainian and Russian literatures in the end of the 18th – first half of the 19th centuries: in translated facetiae, in the works of O. Pysariev, D. Horchakov, H. Kvitka-Osnovianenko, Ye. Hrebinka, P. Kulish, N. Hohol. The purpose of the article is the definition of the features of its use in context. We differentiate two main trends in the functioning of the motive –in the appropriate plot and without it (in the situation which has no direct ties with the known plot, but can actualize association with it).We analyze connection with the original and concludes that there are two kinds of ties. There are indirect genetic ties and typological analogies. Typological analogies have carnival character. We focus on the comic potential of the motive which makes it popular in different national literatures and perspectivefor further studies.
