Психолінгвістичні особливості формування аудитивних умінь старшокласників

Abstract

Україна продовжує робити кроки у напрямку реформування та вдосконалення усіх напрямків суспільного життя, зокрема й освіти. Майбутні спеціалісти повинні бути в змозі працювати з новітніми технологіями, дізнаватися та активно впроваджувати цікаві розробки й новітні методи вирішення існуючих проблем. За таких умов особливо актуальним є формування навичок спілкування іноземною мовою, зокрема англійською мовою, з метою обміну досвідом та інформацією із колегами з інших країн, впровадження спільних проектів та оригінальних розробок. Іншомовне спілкування передбачає не лише вміння повідомляти інформацію, а й уміння сприймати і розуміти іншомовний текст на слух. Дослідження психолінгвістиних передумов формування англомовної аудитивної компетентності старшокласників дозволить правильно організувати процес вивчення іноземної мови у старшій школі та сприятиме формуванню аудитивних навичок учнів. Метою статті є дослідження психолінгвістичних передумов формування англомовних аудитивних навичок старшокласників в умовах сучасного суспільства. Дослідження ґрунтується на методах вивчення такритичного аналізу літератури з методики навчання іноземних мов, психолінгвістики, психології, дидактики, педагогіки та узагальнення досвіду формування аудитивних умінь школярів з метою підвищення ефективності навчання англійської мови.

Ukraine continues the processes of reforming and improving all the aspects of social life and its education is not an exception. Future professionals must be able to work with modern technologies, get to know as well as implement interesting projects and ideas using new methods of solving the existing problems. Under these circumstances the development of foreign language speaking skills, in particular English language competence, with the aim of exchanging experience and information with colleagues from other countries, implementation of common projects and developing interesting ideas become issues of primary importance. Foreign language communication involves not only the speaker’s ability to provide information, but also his/her ability to perceive and understand a certain text in a foreign language while communicating. The research of psycholinguistic preconditions of developing senior students’ listening skills will make it possible to organize the process of teaching a foreign language in a more effective way as well as will contribute to the formation of their listening skills. The aim of the article is to investigate psycholinguistic preconditions of developing senior students’ English listening skills in modern society. The research is based on the methods of the analysis of scientific articles and books on the methods of teaching a foreign language, psycholinguistics, psychology, didactics, pedagogy as well as the generalization of the experience of developing students’ listening skills with the aim of raising the effectiveness of teaching English. The effectiveness of developing English listening skills depends on the fact whether the teacher takes into consideration students’ psycholinguistic peculiarities. Perception, understanding and memorizing information will be more effective if it is interesting for students and is connected with their interests as well as future profession.
