Семантичні інваріанти англійських термінів мистецтва і їх роль у функціонуванні окремих категоріальних груп

Abstract

У статті досліджено структурні компоненти і рівні семантичних інваріантів англійських термінів мистецтва. Семантичний інваріант розглянуто як складний семантико-когнітивний феномен, компонентам якого притаманна концептуальна складність, і часто конотативна насиченість. Єдність комплексу семантичних ознак інваріанта грає визначальну роль не тільки у виникненні термінологічних одиниць, але і у поєднанні їх у окремі категоріальні групи і зумовлює взаємозв’язки між ними.

Semantic invariant of English art term has a complex and multilevel structure, which comprises both explicit and implicit distinctive semantic components. The invariant structure influences term clusters formationand causes dynamic interrelations between them. Furthermore, we have analyzed the ways conceptual complexity of semantic invariant influences phenomena of fuzziness of terminological clusters borders. During the research of art terms and their semantic invariants functioning in different types of special terminological discourse it’s possible to observe processes within semantic invariant structure and explain unusual terms usage.
