Світ села в оповіданні Корнелія Регуша " Ложечка"

Abstract

У неореалістичному за характером оповіданні «Ложечка» Корнелій Регуш відкриває міжособистісні взаємини сільської громади, які розгортаються на тлі буденної ситуації: матері Лукіяна терміново знадобилася ложечка, і жінка відправляє сина, аби той позичив її у сусідів. Відповідно письменник виписує у творі конфлікт «особисте й загальне»; стосунки між батьками і дитиною; дитиною і соціумом; психологію хлопця-підлітка. Усі ці складники ведуть, зрештою, до осмислення – як іронія долі вплітається у вирішення життєвих питань. Отож, у сюжеті простежуємо своєрідний підтекстовий елемент: уміння окремої людини віднайти проблему «на рівному місці» й цим додати клопоту всій громаді.

Korneliy Rehush (1940 ‒ 2002) is a well-known Ukrainian prose writer of Romania, scientist, author of «Moon in the Lantern», «White Blossom of Buckwheat», «The Final Station», «The Perfect Cross». Among the researchers of the writer’s works are literary scholars M.Korsiuk, M.Laslo-Kutsiuk, M.Mykhailiuk, M.H.Traista, and others. Taking into account the interest that K. Rehush’s work arouses among contemporaries, and at the same time its lack of research, the topic of the work is relevant. The willage world in a short story «A Small Spoon» by Korneliy Rehush reveals the interpersonal relationships of the rural community, which unfold against the background of a routine situation: Lukiian’s mother urgently needed a small spoon, and the woman sends her son to borrow it from the neighbors. Taking into account the way the material is selected and the manner of presentation, Korneliy Rehush’s story «A Little Spoon» is inclined to neo-realism stylistic movement. After all, the plot in work unfolds around the everyday situation; a child and commoners are attached start solving it; accordingly, in the center of the story is the folk life and the saturation of the artistic space with everyday trifles; the plot develops dynamically and does not tell about the collisions, but they are shown as if they are recorded in a documentary way (especially it is revealed through the replicas of the characters); the story focuses on the telling details (a little spoon and pie); the reader’s attention is focused on the struggle of opposite beginnings in the human soul (little Lukiian); the story reveals the character traits of the boy and the community who are clearly personified on the basis of images-characters suggested by the author; in the story, the writer appeals to the spoken language; a definite situation does not have an unambiguous end. Accordingly, in the work, the writer writes out the conflict «personal and common»; the relationship between parents and child; the child and society; the psychology of an adolescent boy. The writer observes how the irony of destiny entwines into the solution of life issues. In the plot, we observe a kind of sub-textual element: the ability of an individual human to find the problem out of the blue and thereby add trouble to the whole community.
