| dc.description | Despite the fact that the understanding of the etiopathogenesis, prevention and treatment of the venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism deepened over recent years, the venous thromboembolism remains a major cause of the morbidity and mortality among the patients throughout the world. As general screening is ineffective the venous thrombosis prevention plays an important role. The article contains the latest international recommendations for the venous thromboembolism prevention with account of the high-risk surgical patient groups. | dc.description.abstract | Незважаючи на те, що розуміння етіопатогенезу, профілактики та лікування тромбозу вен і емболії легеневої артерії в останні роки поглибилися, венозна тромбоемболія залишається однією з основних причин захворюва- ності та смертності у пацієнтів у всьому світі. Загальний скринінг є неефективний, тому важливу роль відіграє профілактика венозного тромбозу. У статті представлені останні міжнародні рекомендації щодо профілактики венозного тромбоемболізму із врахуванням груп ризику хірургічних хворих.
