| dc.description | This work presents the results of treatment of 281 patients with kidney stones in lower calyces for the period of 2005-2012. The patients were divided into two groups. Those who were treated using the method of ESWL were included to the first group. The patients treated by PCNL composed the second one. The analysis of the results of treatment affirm the greater efficiency of the PCNL, shorter terms of treatment and low per cent of complications when this method is used. It is also important to take into consideration the anatomic particularity of the kidney and chemical structure of the stone which have the significant role in the choice of the method of treatment. | dc.description.abstract | В роботі наведені результати лікування 281 хворого на сечо-кам’яну хворобу з локалізацією каменя в нижній нирковій чашечці за період 2005 – 2012 рр. Пацієнти були поділені на дві групи. В І групі – пацієнти, яких лікували методом екстракорпоральної ударно-хвильової літотрипсії (ЕУХЛ), а в ІІ – методом черезшкірної нефролітотрипсії (ЧШНЛ). Аналіз результатів лікування свідчить про більшу ефективність черезшкірної нефролітотрипсії, скорочення тривалості терміну лікування цим методом, при низькому відсотку ускладнень. Важливу роль у виборі методу лікування мають анатомо-просторова конфігурація порожнистої системи нирки та склад каменя.
