| dc.description | Laser photocoagulation in the macular zona was applied in the treatment of 26 patients (49 eyes) with the diagnosis of diabetic macular oedema. It was clarified, that laser photocoagulation in the macular zona didn’t cause hard lesion of this important area of the fundus of the eye, but in the most cases helped to reduce the oedema and resorbtion of the hard exudate lesion. After repeated inspection of the patients in 6 month in 29 eyes (59%) positive changes were fixed in the fundus of the eye and in the visual acuity stabilizing. In cases where there were hard changes in the fundus of the eye and severe visual loss no improvements occurred. Key words: laser photocoagulation, diabetic macular oedema | uk |
| dc.description.abstract | У статті наведені результати лазерної коагуляції сітківки у 26 хворих (49 очей) із діабетичним макулярним набряком. Було з’ясовано, що лазерна коагуляція сітківки в ділянці жовтої плями не призводила до грубого ушкодження цієї функціонально важливої ділянки дна очного яблука, а в більшості випадків сприяла зменшенню набряку сітківки та резорбції вогнищ твердих ексудатів, що забезпечувало стабілізацію гостроти зору. При огляді пацієнтів через 6 місяців на 29 очах (59 %) зафіксовані позитивні зміни на дні очного яблука та стабілізація гостроти зору. У випадках з грубими змінами на дні очного яблука та значно зниженою гостротою зору позитивної динаміки не спостерігалось.
