Транскордонне співробітництво місцевих органів влади в умовах децентралізації (теоретико-практичні аспекти)

Abstract

The article examines the effectiveness of cross-border cooperation of border areas on the example of the Carpathian Euroregion and the European Union of Territorial Cooperation "Tisa". The activity of the organization "Carpathian-Ukraine Euroregion", which is the national representation of Ukraine in the Carpathian Euroregion, is analyzed. The purpose, tasks and activity of cross-border cooperation associations are studied. It is substantiated that the successful experience of the Carpathian Euroregion and the European Association for Territorial Cooperation "Tisa" can be examples for the creation of other entities for both sustainable territorial development and the establishment of European values and effective implementation of Ukraine's European integration policy.
