Громадсько–політична діяльність Яцка Остапчука на Закарпатті у 1920–1930-х рр.

Abstract

Yacko Ostapchuk was one of the greatest people of the National Movement at the end of the XIX and at the beginning of the XX centuries. He was a great idealist and when he studied in gymnasium he dreamt of living in the country and working as a public figure. The aim of this article is to analyze the social and political activities of Yacko Ostapchuk in 1920-30-th in Transcarpathian region. The following tasks are put forward: 1) to describe his activities as a member of Carpathian Ruth Social Democratic Party. 2) to define his contribution in to the national an cultural revival of Transcarpathian region in the XIX- XX centuries.
