Abstract

Sorbs - the Slavic people, that lives on the territory of Germany. The phenomenon of the smallest Slavonic nation presents the scientific interest in the context of the research of national, cultural and ethno political development of the nations of European continent. The Renaissance of the national self-consciousness of Sorbs and preservation of their cultural - national peculiarities during X I X-XX went not through selfisolation or opposition to a title nation, but through an exchange of cultural goals and by adoption of cultural achievement of Germans and other European nations.
